In 2023, our journey began on wheels, bringing authentic Italian flavors directly to South Florida communities.
Through long days, carefully selected ingredients and direct contact with customers, the foundation of Puccettoni began to take shape.
What began on wheels became a place people could call their Italian table.
The name Puccettoni comes from an Italian expression of affection, tenderness and human connection.
It is inspired by the playful Italian expression “pucci pucci,” a way of evoking sweetness, closeness and love. It also carries a nostalgic reference to Italian popular culture: a figure who was often underestimated or laughed at, yet remained deeply human.
For us, that meaning became something positive.
Puccettoni represents the people who remain genuine in a world that often values appearance more than substance. It represents warmth over distance, honesty over performance and heart over image.
Being authentic is not a weakness. It is our identity.
Puccettoni was built around a different belief: people can recognize when something is real.
They can feel the difference between food that is simply produced and food that is prepared with care. They can recognize hospitality that comes from a script and hospitality that comes from a genuine desire to make someone feel welcome.

Marco Maroni moves from Italy to South Florida and begins serving authentic Italian food from a food truck, building the Puccettoni experience one customer at a time.
The first Puccettoni Italian Pizza & Food location opens in Pompano Beach, bringing the food truck vision into a permanent neighborhood setting.
Puccettoni opens its second location in Fort Lauderdale, continuing a journey built through passion, customer support and authentic Italian hospitality.
Puccettoni is our way of bringing a piece of Italy to South Florida: not only through the food we prepare, but through the warmth, care and sense of belonging that have always made Italian hospitality special.
